An interaction with MBA Alumni was organized for MBA freshers by Faculty of Management Studies recently. The seniors shared their corporate and entrepreneurial experiences with the young Turks in the making and laid stress on the importance of planning and goal setting at the commencement of their MBA journey itself.

Another piece of advice was to work on the academic performance, personality, confidence and communication skills. Besides reiterating the importance of working backwards with a focus on acquiring dream jobs, entrepreneurship was also recommended as an excellent career option so that the new management students become job creators and not only job seekers. A medley of questions, laughter, sound advice and nostalgia marked the session where the past and the present momentarily blurred.
