Informative and Healthy Sessions: Second Day of MRU Orientation Programme (Non-Engg.)
The second day of three-week orientation program of Non-Engineering students commenced with a refreshing zumba session. The yoga session energized the students for the further sessions of the day. Nothing is better than an ice-breaking session when new comers are sitting with each other. Experts from Corporate Relations and Career Management Cell conducted an ice-breaking session with the new members of MRU.
This was followed by a healthy interaction of the students with Mr. Gautam Srivastava, General Manager, Career Skills, and Mr. Nitesh, Sr. Manager, Verbal & Soft Skills wherein students were introduced to the skill-set required apart from the domain-specific skills. Rise of Liberal Arts courses, importance of foreign languages and more such issues were discussed which created awareness among students.
A session on Cyber Laws was conducted by Mr. Dhruv Jose, Advocate, Supreme Court of India wherein students were informed about the laws available against cyber crime.
