An industrial visit to Suneel Auto Comp. Pvt Ltd., Gurgaon was organized by the Department of Automobile Engineering, FET, MRIIRS on 28-03-2018 for 35 students of Automobile Engineering. The company is one of the top vendors of Maruti and Eicher and supplies sheet metal parts.

Mr. Sunny Bhatia (Asst. Prof. Auto) and Mr. Gurpreet Singh (Asst. Prof. Auto) accompanied the students and were well-received by Mr. Madhur Bakshi, Director, SACPL (also one of the prominent Alumni of MRIIRS) who gave a brief introduction about the company through a presentation.

Students were taken to the plants where they were divided into three groups and visited welding, production and inspection departments. Students saw the working of robotic spot welding and robotic MIG welding. Mr. Suneel Bakshi, CEO, SACPL discussed the career opportunities in Automobile sector.

After the visit, the whole batch gathered in the conference room and asked about the prospects of industrial training at SACPL.

Overall, it was a very learning experience and the visit helped the students to understand various technical aspects of automobile engineering.
