Industrial Visit to ACTL gave an insight to students how dry ports work in supply chain and logistics. The different types of documentations involved. What are the different stakeholders involved? How stakeholders of the logistic movement like ICD, Freight Forwarders, Shipping lines and government regulatory bodies like customs coordinate their activities to ensure that by way of uninterrupted supply chain the national and global economic activity is carried out seamlessly?

Students visited the different departments of the facility like Warehouse, bonding area,container Stuffing and offloading area, empty container storage, freight train station and container repair area. A brief explanation regarding each department was given during the visit. Students were able to understand the practical application of their theoretical knowledge being imparted in their undergrad degree program.
