Independence Day Celebration by FCA
Faculty of Computer Applications, MRIIRS celebrated 72nd Independence Day of India in the presence of Dr. N.C. Wadhwa, VC, MRIIRS; Sh. R.K. Arora, Registrar, MRIIRS; Dr. S.S. Tyagi, Dean-FCA; Dr. Shaveta Bhatia, HOD-CA, all the faculty members and students.
Ms. Sunita Joshi, Assistant Professor, FCA sang a melodious song “Ae mere vatan ke logo….”, which filled the hearts of all present members with patriotism. Everyone enchanted the Shaanti Paath for world peace to avoid the war in nations and peace in human race to end the discrepancy between human races. Mr. Rajkumar, Assistant Professor, FCA presented his remarkable thoughts on the eve of Independence Day.
A kite flying competition and painting competition were also organized for the students in which they participated with full enthusiasm.
Dr. S.S. Tyagi encouraged the students to participate in such events and to know the rich culture of India. He also mentioned that the importance of freedom should not only limited to words rather it should reflect in our actions also. Sh. R.K. Arora motivated the students and faculty members to work hard to achieve their goals and give contribution to the progress of our country.
Dr. N.C. Wadhwa showered his blessings on students and faculty members and gave his good wishes on this pious occasion.
The program concluded with the National Anthem and sweets distribution.
