Inculcating Skills among students through MRLSP
Manav Rachna University organized Manav Rachna Life Skills Programme wherein various activities including Group Discussion and Slogan Writing Competition were conducted. Group Discussion was organized to commemorate the National Education Day as a mark of respect to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad on the topic “Are we on the right track on imparting quality education in Indian society?” Students from various departments participated, out of which top ten were selected for the second round with the topic “Is reservation hampering the quality of the education in Indian society?” Madhavendra, Deepanshi and Saumya were the winners of the Group Discussion.
In order to create awareness about the importance of Education among students a Slogan Writing Competition was organized. As it is said that “Pens are mightier than swords, swords may win battles but pens can bring over a revolution”, students wrote exceptional slogans on the theme given. They not only wrote them beautifully but drew on the sheets to express their thoughts.
Badminton Practice Round was conducted in the Manav Rachna Sports Arena. Students from MRU of different clans played in doubles and singles under the guidance of Mr. Om Bir Singh. They were trained on handling of the equipment, formation of teams, service styles and postures.
