Guest Lecture on “Get, Set, Go: The Path to Success”
Guest Lecture is a way of enriching the students with the latest updates of the Industries and Technicalities. At Manav Rachna, emphasis is given on not only making the students academically brilliant, but true leaders and team players, thus preparing them for the real life corporate world.
In this series, a guest lecture was organized by the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies for graduate and postgraduate students of Nutrition and Dietetics recently. The resource person for the lecture was Mrs. Meenakshi Bhatnagar who delivered a talk on “Get, Set, Go: The Path to Success
Meenakshi Bhatnagar, Founding Director – Kala Training and Development Company is a highly acclaimed and successful life skills trainer with a rich and diverse experience across various segments. She is a master of Emotional Quotient based training and has conducted over 2000 programs across the globe. Known for her charismatic style and unique methods of training, she is one of the most creative trainers in the market. Owing her success to her Psychology education and Junior Chamber International, she believes in spreading smiles and creating new success stories every day. Her enthusiasm is often contagious and the energy she brings to the training hall is simply exuberant.
During her lecture, she explained that soft skills are increasingly becoming the hard skills of today’s work force. It’s just not enough to be highly trained in technical skills, without developing the softer, interpersonal and relationship-building skills that help people to communicate and collaborate effectively.
Through awareness of how you interact with others, and with practice, you can improve your interpersonal skills. This session of skills was full of information and practical advice that students can use to improve and develop their interpersonal skills.
