Dr. Ramgopal Rao S, Academic Manager, Biocon Academy, delivered an enriching guest lecture on the concept of ‘Biocon Academy’ on February 20, 2019 at the Department of Biotechnology, FET, MRIIRS. The academy has different modules for students, graduates from different programs as well as a very special faculty development program for the teachers of Biotechnology. His session included information on the latest different skill sets required for improving employability students. Moreover, the FDP program has been designed to upgrade the knowledge of the faculty members with perspective of industrial practices. The guest lecture was attended by final year students and the faculty members of Biotechnology Department, MRIIRS
