Manav Rachna International University in the light of ‘Swachh Bharat’ Campaign, launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, organized an awareness programme, ‘Hamara Campus, Swachh Campus’. This awareness campaign, envisioned to sensitize the significance of cleanliness being not only the responsibility of the government but also of the inpidual citizens of the country.

Dr. Arunangshu Mukherjee, presented a brief about rainwater harvesting and artificial recharge of groundwater. He also descriptively explained the vast process of water conservation at the campus and supplies. The students of Paigam – Theatre Society of Manav Rachna presented a short skit on Swachhta.

Taking into account the awareness drive, an online poster making competition was also organised for the students. Hardik Jhamb, from CSE, FET stood First, while Nikita Bansal from III Year B.tech CSE, FET was second and Kirti Mehra, BPT, MRIU bagged the third position in the competition.
