Gaming and Animation Competition
Give colours to your canvas!
The Faculty of Computer Applications (FCA) organized a competition under the Gaming and Animation Technical Club “Canvas Club” recently. More than 150 students participated in the competitions and showcased their talent.
The event started with motivational words by Dr. S.S. Tyagi (HOD, FCA). He encouraged the students to not to keep their canvas blank, rather color it with a number of activities along with studies. The core team of students comprising Nitin Joseph, Raghav Rao, Himanshu, Namik Batra and Kartik under the guidance of Ms. Sunita Joshi, Dr. Sonia Duggal and Ms. Vidushi Sighal did a meticulous planning and put their endless efforts for the success of the event. The technical clubs were inaugurated with a competition on “Need For Speed Most Wanted 2005 (NFSMW)” an online gaming and a poster-making competition on the theme “The Warrior”.
The Winners for NFSMW online gaming were Mr. Sahil Panghal of B.Sc (IT) and the runner up was Mr. Lalit of BCA. The winners of poster making competition were Ms. Niharika of BCA and the runner up was Mr. Ashish of BCA. Ms. Nitika Popli of BC and Ms. Ashna of BCA also won prizes.
The technical clubs focus on the all-round development of students providing them a platform of togetherness and shall soon see participation from students of other colleges. The goal is to provide a healthy competitive environment to the students.
