The team spent 8 months in designing, manufacturing and testing of the car at the Dr. O.P Bhalla innovation and incubation centre. At the competition site, the students presented their project in front of the judges from various car manufacturers like Audi, Porsche, Rolls Royce, BMW, Bentley etc.
The teams in the competition assume that they are a manufacturer developing a prototype to be evaluated for production. The target audience was the non-professional Weekend Racers, for which the race car must show very good driving characteristics such as acceleration, braking and handling. Apart from these characteristics the vehicle should be offered at a very reasonable cost, and be reliable and dependable.
