Five-day online FDP on “INDUSTRY 4.0: Digitization, Sensorization & Optimization” for CSE Faculty Members
Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, MRIIRS organised a five-day online FDP on “INDUSTRY 4.0: Digitization, Sensorization & Optimization” recently. This FDP was sponsored by AICTE Training and Learning Academy as a part of the Faculty Development Schemes for Academic Year 2021-22. The scheme is intended to improve the faculty’s teaching and other skills related to technological advancements in key sectors.
The Faculty Development Programme addressed the fourth industrial revolution or Industry 4.0 which is the digital transformation for industries.
94 participants from various institutions registered on AICTE portal for this FDP and on an average 70 participants attended regularly. The programme had numerous experts delivering lectures and introduced the delegates to the tools and technologies of Industry 4.0.
Dr. Anand Nayyar working in School of Computer Science-Duy Tan University, Vietnam. Dr. Nayyar presented valuable insights about the Industry Revolution Foundation. Mr. Kundana Kumar Lal, President, Vitti Research Foundation, Mumbai delivered a highly informative lecture touching the various aspects of AI. Mr. Suraj Kamya, Founder & CEO, Monki Space Private Limited, Delhi discussed the need of Artificial Intelligence, Why AI?, Hype Cycle of AI, reflecting the current trends, tools and techniques of industry and future demands of the market.
Dr. Ajanta Devi, Research Head, AP3 solutions, Chennai, She discussed the different aspects of Data Science, Pandas an open-source tool, quantitative and qualitative data. She discussed different auto-managed closed tools, programming tools. Col. Sunil Kapila from India Future Foundation, gives insights into the cyber security awareness aspects, cloud security as well. Dr. Prashan Rana from Thappar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. He discussed the complete idea of Machine learning, applying linear models through Pycaret, preparing data, Classification, Regression and Clustering. with real examples.
Dr. Surajit Debnath, Head, Dept of MLT, Biomedical Technology & PI-Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Govt of India, sir discussed the introduction to different biomedical devices such as deep brain neural simulators, gastric stimulators, foot drop implants, insulin pumps, in the health applications.
Dr. Vipul Vashisht, CEO Lagozon Technologies Ltd. Gurgaon discussed the “Applications and Case studies in Business Intelligence. Dr.Shobha Srivatava, Deputy Director CDP, MRIIRS, discussed Sources of energy, The food, sleep, calmness, breath.
All sessions were extremely informative and useful for research work and appreciated by the participants.
