First day of Second-week of Orientation Program
The second-week of Orientation programme at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS, Formerly MRIU) commenced with the highly energetic outdoor games sessions. Students were divided into clans- Water Sharks, Wild Cats, Forest Rhinos, and Air Falcons. This was followed by the t-shirt distribution of respective clans.
Engineering students were welcomed in the sports ground of the campus to start their day with sports like Cricket, Volleyball and Basketball. Sports have always been at the core of Manav Rachna education policy and the objective of welcoming students in this way was only to encourage the sportsmanship in each of them. To keep the spirit alive, Tug of War was played among the students.
Addressing the students, Mr. Sarkar Talwar, Director-Sports highlighted the importance of sports in a student’s life and motivated them to actively take part in sports.
Various literary activities such as story writing and narrating, and Spell-B were conducted by Corporate Relations and Career Management Cell.
