Faculty of Computer Applications (FCA), Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies organized an Alumni Meet ‘SANSMARAN-2K18’ for pass out batches (2014, 2015 & 2016) of BCA, B.Sc.-IT and MCA.

Dr. S.S. Tyagi, HoD, FCA began the session with his welcome speech and motivated the alumni to maintain the bond with FCA, MRIIRS in such a way that their knowledge and proficiency helps junior students in all aspects for the development in their career and personal goals.

Dr. Naresh Grover, Dean Academics and Dean FCA also gave his good wishes to the alumni for their future. Sh. R.K. Arora, Registrar, MRIIRS introduced the MRIIRS Alumni Association to the alumni members, and the initiatives being taken for better engagement of the alumni with their Alma Mater. Dr. N.C. Wadhwa, VC, MRIIRS blessed students with his inspiring note and expressed his deep concern for the alumni and their success in the competitive world.

The cultural session started a brief introduction where Alumni shared their college experiences. Many alumni also shared their life journey so far with their mantra of success. There were mesmerizing dance performances by FCA students and alumni. The celebration became lively with entertainment games like -‘Farra Bowl’ and ‘Medusa’. The alumni members captured their memories with their respective faculty members and friends taking home the nostalgic reminiscence from “SANSMARAN-2K18” to cherish a lifetime.

All the alums were excited to look forward in future for such meets. Alums also gave valuable career suggestions to the students and promised to be in touch with their Alma Mater in all senses through cultural events, literacy, entrepreneurial or any other means.

The event was coordinated by FCA-alumni coordinator Dr. Sonal Pathak along with faculty members and students.
