An expert lecture on the topic, “Aero Modeling” was delivered by Mr. Pankaj Bhojwani – Founder & Director of Beyond Gravity, who started aero modeling as hobby when he was 9 years old and later on completely got into the activity by making models for competitions & exhibitions, got many prizes.

The interaction with our aeronautical engineering students was conducted in January 15, 2019 for the benefit of Aeronautical engineering faculty and students. Mr Bhojwani besides long experience in aero modeling is also doing Research & Development work for military, DRONE (UAV & maximum types of Autonomous Vehicle) development & UAV pilot training.

The expert talk provided an opportunity to all the aeronautical faculty and students to get acquainted with the various facets of Aero Modeling and the challenging role of Aeronautical Engineers being played to exploit this technology for commercial purposes. The interaction did deliver hands on practical experience on  Aero modeling & insights into the customization of projects in different fields. It helped & encouraged the student to learn the technology behind making of Aircraft & use of latest technology for their ongoing & upcoming projects by developing working models & mock ups.
