Expert lecture on Intellectual Property Right by BIJAY KUMAR SAHU

Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad and Faculty of Applied Science in particular have been a front runner providing the faculties the latest and up to date knowledge about relevant and practically important topics. Another addition to this was an expert lecture on “Intellectual Property Right” about filing Patent and it’s importance by Mr. BIJAY KUMAR SAHU, Dy Manger (IPR) and Programme Research PAN India IPR Awareness in Universities/Academics, National Research Development Corporation (NRDC), New Delhi on 20th May 2015. This FDP was organized in association with innovation and incubation centre, MRIU.
Mr. BIJAY KUMAR SAHU was welcomed by Dr. Pooja Anand, HoD, Physiotherapy who introduced him as an expert on the subject besides being an excellent orator. Professor B.S Gill felicitated him with a sapling. Mr. BIJAY KUMAR SAHU commenced his lecture by introducing the Intellectual Property policies in India. He next focused the importance of filling patent, its procedure and importance. He rounded of his extremely informative lecture with excellent explanation of details that plays a very important role in development of more innovative ideas and making them as intellectual property.
Dr. G.L.Khanna Dean, FAS emphasized the need to understand these process to strength the research & innovation at the university and to enhance the professional prospects. Professor B. S. Gill linked the need of patents and its importance for university faculty members for their future growth and demand of hour. The lecture was attended by 70 faculties of MRIU and was highly grateful to Mr. BIJAY KUMAR SAHU for sparing his time & Knowledge.
