E-workshop organized on ‘Co-solving waterlogging and groundwater depletion issue in parts of Faridabad Smart City’
Center for Advanced Water Technology and Management, MRIIRS recently organized an e-workshop on ‘Co- solving waterlogging and groundwater depletion issue in parts of Faridabad Smart City’ to initiate the DST WTI funded Research Project on this issue. The expert panel included Dr. Alok Sikka, Country Head India, IWMI; Dr. Peter Dillon, CSIRO, Australia; Dr. Anoop Nagar, Member CGWB; Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Sc D DST, and Sh. Lalit Arora, Advisor, Faridabad Smart City Limited.
The event was conducted and moderated by Dr. Dipankar Saha, Chair Professor, CAWTM, MRIIRS. More than 127 participants attended the workshop. Dr. Arunangshu Mukherjee, PI of the Project presented the salient points of the project. The event was chaired by Dr. N V Wadhwa, DG, MRIE, who delivered the Inaugural Address, followed by the Address of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, MRIIRS Dr. Sanjay Srivastava.
