Young Delegation from Soka Gakkai International (SGI) visited Manav Rachna University (MRU) to promote the philosophy of peace and empower individuals towards positive global change. The interaction started with a brief introduction of Manav Rachna University and its philosophy. This was followed by an introduction of SGI by the Japanese Delegation wherein they shared the sole foundation of the organization and how the global movement of peace is spreading across the world. The delegation reiterated the belief of SGI which stated- “We believe peace begins with cherishing people in our immediate circle”.
Mr. Akiyasu Shiga and Ms. Hiroko Ogushi were the esteemed members of the delegation who interacted with the students and faculty members of MRU.
A cultural exchange from both the organizations was also the part of it.
