The Department of Civil Engineering and Department of Mechanical Engineering, FET, MRIIRS jointly organized ‘DESIGNEN 2K22’ – an AutoCAD Technical Quiz and Modelling Competition. 

The competition was conducted in two rounds and a total of 65 students participated in the event. 

First round of the competition started with 30 questions related to AutoCAD and a total of 10 participants from round 1 were selected for round 2 of the competition. 

In round 2, participants had to make 2 different models by using different commands of AutoCAD. This was a time-based task and the participants who completed their models using maximum commands in minimum time became the final winners. In the competition, Ms. Prachi Aggarwal (M.Tech – Transportation Engineering) secured the first position and Mr. Eeshan Khan (B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering) bagged the second position.
