Department of Telecom Center of Excellence (TCOE) India organized a conference on ‘Cashless & Mobile Higher Education’ with the support of Department of Telecommunication (C-DOT), New Delhi. Mr. Ankur Kumar Aggarwal, Astt. Professor, Computer Science and Technology Department, Manav Rachna University attended the conference. The conference session was inaugurated by Shri Anurag Vibhuti, Deputy Director TCOE. He discussed various initiatives taken by TCOE that contributed to society in many ways. Shri Anurag Vibhuti also discussed I-MADE Progam which is established in collaboration with Government of India, and Department of Telecommunication. The objective of I-MADE program is to increase adoption of technology in Higher education. It also digitizes resources and processes to increase student engagement and encourage entrepreneurship with the goal of building 1 million startups.
Shri R.K. Pathak, Deputy Director General, Department of Telecommunication discussed the program that focuses on bringing each university on one platform to share their problems and come-up with a series of solutions. The session ended with the demo of AppMaker and feature of I-MADE program like Attendance Tracking System, Fee payment System, Push notification, Syllabus, E-notice board, Student wallet, Anti-ragging helpline, Timetable, Campus online directory and Canteen
