Department of Management and Commerce, MRU organized an Industrial (Hospital) visit for BBA HCM Ist and IInd year students to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Multispecialty Hospital, Sector 30, Noida  for gaining insight into hospital facilities and healthcare  processes.

The visit by facilitated by Mr. Mayank (Hospital Administrator) and Dr. Suren Shukla (‎Director Corporate Strategy – ‎OHUM Healthcare Solutions Pvt Ltd).

The  government owned multispecialty hospital has average footfall of approx.  3000 patients per day. Students visited the hospital facilities ie  OPD, Medicine wards, radiology department, other diagnostic departments, emergency, Orthopaedics, Operation Theatres and other departments.

Students observed the infrastructure of different departments and understood the operational processes of the hospital like OPD registration, IPD admissions process, lab sample collection and report dispatch schedule.The hospital has recently  started an app based(online) OPD registration process to avoid the queue and hassles.

The hospital also has specific departments such as  Anti – Tobacco awareness section  for counseling and treatment of  tobacco addicts .
