Department of Business Studies organised ‘Wacky Wednesday’
Department of Business Studies, Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies organized ‘Wacky Wednesday’, a day full of surprises, fun and creativity. Various fun activities, debates, competitions were organized in which BBA and B.Com students participated with great enthusiasm.
Topics for the debate were based on surrogacy, euthanasia, re-election, and many more. Team of BBA students won the competition with Shivali Chawla, Nikhil Malhotra, Sachin Sharma and Suhaib Khan as the best speakers. This was followed by Minute to win it, a very interesting game concept wherein participants had to complete some fun tasks in a minute. There were games like balancing a biscuit on the nose. Himanshu Panchariya and Mukul from BBA General were chosen as winners.
Best out of Waste and Poster Making Competition were also organized which showcased students’ creativity and their awareness both. Ms. Deepika Kala from BBA Banking
and Mr. Anant Jain from BBA (Global) International Business won the Poster Making Competition and Ms. Chetna Khurana from BBA Banking Won ‘Best out of Waste’.
‘Plastic ki Gudiya’- a Nukkad Natak was also presented highlighting the harsh reality of the world that people now-a-days prefer external beauty rather than internal beauty. Another Natak was titled as ‘Hall Behaal’ which was focused on how Godmen and fake Yogis are exploiting the sentiments of society.
Management ludo was also played in which Dipika and Bhim won the first prize, and the second prize was bagged by the teams of Amit Sharma, Shivali Chawla, Namrata and Jatin.
Pictogram Extempore was organized by the Finance club which acted as a brainstorming session for every participant.
Overall, it was an exciting and fun-filled Wednesday.
