Dental camp at Earth Savior Foundation
Department of Public Health Dentistry, Manav Rachna Dental College, FDS, MRIIRS organized a dental treatment camp at Bandhwari Village on February 12, 2020, in collaboration with Earth Savior Foundation.
Earth Saviour Foundation is an internationally recognized NGO working for the upliftment of the lesser privileged individuals. Its main aim is to look after homeless and abandoned senior citizens, rescue mentally disabled people look after deprived families and save the environment. The team was led by Dr. Nisha Yadav with 8 interns (Dr. Simran Randhawa, Dr. Simran Dhawan, Dr. Supriya Nayak, Dr. Sheetal, Dr. Vaibhavi, Dr. Tanya , Dr. Madhu, and Dr. Meghna).
The team screened and treated beneficiaries from Earth Saviour Foundation for dental diseases like gingival problems, dental caries, and missing teeth.
A total of 42 patients were screened in this camp and 15 patients were treated at the NGO premises in Bandhwari village. Mr. Ravi Kalra, the founder of Earth Saviour Foundation distributed the certificates to the team. He also honored the college with a memento and each team member with an individual memento. Mr. Deepak Aggarwal, the organizer of this camp, appreciated the work done by the team. He showed his interest in further collaborations with the Dental College in the future for the betterment of oral health care of the inmates of Foundation.
