First Day of Anveshan 2018 ended with a cultural program ‘Rubaroo’

The first day of Anveshan-2018 culminated with a grand cultural evening ‘Rubaroo’ organised specially for the delegates and participants by the students of Manav Rachna. The program started with a beautiful dance depiction of the Ganesh Vandana.

This was followed by a melodious tour of the world through the song- “We are the world, we are the children…” by Mridang, Manav Rachna Music Society.

Nostalgia prevailed when Manvi Singh from Jamia Hamdard sang harmonious retro songs. Amidst all these, Mridaksh- the Western Dance Society of Manav Rachna presented beautifully choreographed free-style Bhangra, and traditional dance performances that set the euphoria high.

The stage was set on fire with the high Qawwali notes of Mridang. The Qawwali stole everyone’s heart and received great appreciation and cheer from the audience. The evening reached its zenith when Dr. Amarendra Pani showcased the Jagannath Yatra through an Oriya recital that was beautifully supported by the taal of Dholak and Tabla.
