Cultivate the force of your ‘inner-self’ to reach the harmonious ‘inner-satisfaction’ February 13, 2017 was a fulfilling day for Manav Rachna Career Development Centre, as they hosted a group of 100 bright and brilliant merit holder students of various government schools of NCR accompanied by their teachers and senior members of the #education fraternity. It was a power-packed day for the young brigade of scholars of who were very enthusiastic about the Manav Rachna campus visit. Keeping pace with the ideology of Manav Rachna of contributing to the society, the walk in the realms of Higher Education kick started with full zeal and vigor.
Scholars were bustling with energy as they visited various skill hubs at the campus to discover newer aspects of higher education. Students were thrilled to visit Radio Manav Rachna 107.8 as they got a chance to be on a live radio station. To set the adrenaline rushing, students visited ever intriguing 10 meters and 25 meters shooting ranges and were enthralled to visit the prolific shooting academy. Post all the fun and frolic, to stimulate the their minds, students visited the solar energy lab and unlocked various scientific explorations which was followed by a visit to Dr. O.P. Bhalla Central Library whose grandeur left the students mesmerized.
Students also visited MRIIC, a seminal initiative of MR and were awestruck with the various innovations. The list included smart bin, smart skull, X-box prototype etc. Mr. Umesh Dutta took them through all the innovations, to which they had their own innovative suggestions and feedback. Post the campus tour, the group assembled in the amphitheatre, aptly titled ‘Manch’ to share their experiences. The culmination address was graced by the venerated presence of Honorable MD MREI Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Ms. Gauri Bhasin, Head Career Development Centre, Mr. DC Chowdhary, Education Consultant, Dr. OP Bhalla Foundation with other senior and eminent dignitaries of the education sector. Dr. Srivastava showered the students with his encouraging words and apprised them with the principles of a journey called Life. Ms. Bhasin reinstated the fact that Excellence speaks for itself through dedication and hard work and a spark for curiosity can set in motion a chain of brilliant new ideas. The students were greatly elated, thankful to MREI for providing them with a platform that gave them what they described as the experience of a lifetime.
