Faculty of Education, Manav Rachna University organized a Two-day Refresher and Empowerment Workshop for Principals and HMs of Government schools of Faridabad in collaboration with Department of Education, Haryana on June 29 and June 30, 2018. The programme was attended by over 100 participants. The sessions were conducted in the presence of Ms. Anita Sharma, BEO, Ballabhgarh, and Mr. D.C. Chaudhary, Advisor, Faridabad Navchetna Trust.

The opening session of the day was conducted by Ms. Sanyogita Sharma, Director-MRIS and Faculty of Education, MRU. She conducted a workshop on Leadership Styles. Dr. Babita Parashar, HoD, Faculty of Education, MRU introduced the role of communication and feedback in teaching-learning process. Mr. Parikshit Dhanda from Mindler conducted a Career Counselling session. Mr Kuldeep Mehta, Asst. Director-Academic Cell, Panchkula, and Mr Parmod Kumar, Programme Officer- Academic Cell, Panchkula were the resource persons for the session on ‘Connecting with the Community’ wherein they talked about social mobility, cooperation and contribution. Valedictory Address was delivered by Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Vice Chancellor, Manav Rachna University.
