TheDevTheory Conference 2018, powered by Xebia and sponsored by GitHub was held at Hotel Le Meridien, Gurugram recently. Faculty members from the Department of Computer Science & Technology, Manav Rachna University – Ms. Hanu Bhardwaj, Dr. Mrinal Panday, Dr. Hardeo Thakur and Ms. Mamta Arora attended the conference and gained the knowledge about current industry trends. The conference provided a perfect opportunity to network with the delegates and explore the modern trends & solutions in the industry. The conference began with a Keynote – “Being Competitive in a Software Economy”, by Lee Faus, Platform Solutions Architect, GitHub.

The conference was structured in two tracks. Track 1 focused on 21st Century Web Development and Track 2 was revolved around Cloud, Containers and Scalability. The eminent speakers from renowned industries shared their knowledge about cutting edge technologies. In the concluding session, Jason Beres, Sr. VP Developer Tools, Infragistics threw light on the importance of effective design before development and also treasured the ample amount of opportunities for youngsters in India.

Manav Rachna University is launching two new programs in association with Xebia: B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering with specialization in Data Science & Machine Learning and B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering with specialization in Digital Transformation Engineering, from the academic Session 2018-2019. Xebia is a Dutch headquartered IT company which specializes in Continuous Delivery & DevOps, Full Stack Agile Development, Agile Consulting & Transformation, Big Data/Data Science, Mobile, Cloudification and Data Centre Automation.
