Commencement of Third-week of MRU Orientation Program for Freshers
The last week of MRU Orientation Programme began with a great hope of building new relationships during their journey at Manav Rachna campus. The programme has been very exciting for the students. The students are now fully charged to spend their next few years at their new alma mater. The first day of the third week for Engineering students was comprised of departmental modules wherein students attended sessions on Computer Skills and English Language followed by hands-on sessions in Mechanical and Electrical Lab. Students also underwent hands-on training on different topics of Mathematics beneficial for their upcoming course.
For non-engineering students, the day began with department modules and students were given relevant information about their courses. An alumni lecture was planned for management students today and was conducted by Mr. Anubhav Sukhija, an entrepreneur. Mr. Sukhija discussed his various entrepreneurial ventures and his experiences with the students. He also guided them about the successful entrepreneurs and what all it takes to be successful.
Students of Faculty of Education had an opportunity to interact with the experts from Microsoft Imagine Academy. Students were given training on the Navigation Pathway and experts shared the prospects of MS Certified Educator (MCE) with them.
Literary activities help develop and improve communication, presentation, speaking, and critical thinking skills. With this thought, literary activities such as Spellbee and Debate were organized for freshers at the campus.
