Commencement of PhD Coursework Classes at MRU
In order to develop significant and original research expertise among students in specific areas, Manav Rachna University (MRU) commenced its Ph.D coursework classes recently for the fresh Ph.D scholars at par with the UGC Guidelines. The coursework sessions are intended to ensure that the scholars develop breadth as well as depth in their understanding of specific research areas.
The first day of Ph.D Coursework classes started with an orientation about Impartus Lecture capture- An online platform to attend live classes online, to view all the previously held sessions and to participate in the online discussions. The session was held by Mr. Anshul Omar and was followed by Sessions on Research Methodology and Quantitative Techniques by Prof. B. S. Nagi and Prof. C.S Sharma respectively.
The sessions equipped scholars with relevant information on how to initiate their research journey. Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Honorable VC, MRU addressed the students while emphasizing on time management, selection of Supervisor and developing reading habit etc. They were benefited with expert and valuable ideas given by him. The first day loomed with hope, energy and optimism.
