Biotechnology Professor presented paper at AMI-2018
Dr. Kapila Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, FET, MRIIRS presented a paper in 59th Annual Conference of Association of Microbiologists of India (AMI-2018) and International Symposium on Host-Pathogen Interactions scheduled from 09-12 December, 2018. The conference was organized by School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad, Telangana, India in association with Department of Microbiology, Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The theme for AMI-2018 was “Microorganisms for Sustainable Development”.
The work Presented by Dr. Kapila Kumar was highly appreciated by the jury members. The conference was attended by delegates and speakers from different countries across the globe. The chief guest in the conference was Dr. Shekhar Mande (DG, CSIR) and Guest of Honor were Dr Rakesh Mishra (Director-CSIR-CCMB), Dr. Debashish Mitra (Director CDFD), Dr Anil Koul (Director CSIR-IMTECH), Dr Meenakumari B (Chairperson, NBA) and many other renowned and eminent Scientists. The Association of Microbiologists of India established in 1938, is one of the oldest and reputed scientific organizations of the country. The three-day event brought together about 2000 participants who were nationally and internationally renowned in various disciplines of microbiology.
