Day 4 at BBA, Manav Rachna University Orientation Programme
The day started with the exciting bridge session, where students were informed about the instrumental role of examination and its nuances. The young minds were up-skilled on the functioning of radio and a dash of management through bollywood added flavor to learning. The expectation with self was scribbled by learners to stay focused was one of the activities that stole the show.
The day began with an interaction with examination team Dr B D Pathak, Dean Examinations and Prof Ms Shefali Chopra, Deputy controller Examinations on systems of evaluation, CGPA, SGPA calculation, unfair means and re evaluation norms.
This was followed by visit to Radio Manav Rachna, The community radio station of Manav Rachna Vidyatriskh, where they visited the recording studios and participated in the radio jockeys live shows. Ms. Shailja Naqvi and team RMR answered all inquisitive questions of the entrants.
Later, Mr Tod Burton, Dean, Faculty of Environment and Technology (FET) and Dr Anil Kashyap, Head of Department of Geography and Environmental Management, University of Western England, Bristol, UK, interacted with the students. They were given a snapshot about city of Bristol, one of the largest and most happening cities of UK, University of Western England, One of the largest universities in UK known for research and technological innovations and product design which is the specialization of Mr Burton and how a dialogue can open doorways of opportunities for our students.
In the afternoon, students participated in a session on “Learning Management through Bollywood’. Students actively participated in the follow through activity which will be completing in days to come.”
