In continuation with our efforts to make the new students more comfortable at campus and yet effective and participative in all the interactions and discussions with the eminent speakers, the students got an opportunity to interact with Dr D C Chowdhary, Consultant Nav Chetna Trust, OP Bhalla foundation on some valuable lessons on life skills. He emphasized the importance of taking a balanced diet and to make yoga/meditation an essential component in one’s daily routine.
The students also interacted with Ms Sadhana Roa, who has been heading HR with eminent and known corporate offices. She discussed with the students the importance of Knowledge, Skills and Attitude in making their career plans and how important it is to keep exploring new things and broaden skill sets to survive and sustain in the corporate world.
A “Selfie contest” based on one of the most innovative and creative theme on campus was organized to generate enthusiasm and to increase social networking among the peer groups. The students actively participated in the contest and winners were awarded for their efforts and innovative ideas.The day ended with an activity “News corner” wherein the students in their respective groups made presentation on recent updates on the current topics in news.
Further, a visit to Mohana Community Centre was organized to sensitize the students about the importance of being socially responsible.
