Automotive Training & Research Centre at University campus
Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) in association with Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Private Limited (HMSI) has established Automotive Training & Research Centre at University campus for imparting high-end skills required in two-wheeler Industry of Auto Sector. The inauguration of the center was made by Mr. Harbhajan Singh (S.V.P HMSI) & Dr. Prashant Bhalla (President MREI) on July 13, 2017.
In this association, HMSI has provided technical support for setting up training and research infrastructure for MRIU students. This association will provide a platform for students of Mechanical / Automobile / Electronics & Electrical branches to take up research projects in emerging areas in association with HMSI. This Automotive Training & Research will offer short-term courses for two-wheeler technicians and high-end courses for executives. The offered courses will provide hands-on training on servicing of two-wheelers with their fault diagnosis and rectification. This will also update the frequently changing technological advancement in the auto sector of senior executives and their associates. Research areas will be focused on improving the efficiency of engines, alternative sources of energy with improved design features of the vehicle and its components.
The center of excellence will not only enhance employability prospects of the students but will also impart skills for self-employment.
