Ankur Mittal wins Gold in Men’s Double Trap at ISSF World Championship
- Ankur is a MBA student at Manav Rachna Educational Institutions
- He won the Gold in a Shoot-Off at the Championship in Korea
Ace Double Trap shooter Ankur Mittal won gold via a shoot-off in men’s trap shooting on Day 9 of the ISSF World Championship in Changwon, South Korea today.
Ankur is pursuing MBA at Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI). He was also a part of the team comprising Ankur Mittal, Shardul Vihan and Asad Mohammed who won India Bronze in the Men’s team Double Trap Shooting today.
While congratulating Ankur, Dr. Prashant Bhalla, President, MREI said: “Manav Rachna has been the grooming ground for many National and International level players. We have a special policy that is very supportive of players with a deep focus on sports and state-of-the-art sports infrastructure.”
It is noteworthy that Ankur has brought several laurels for the country in one after another international matches.
