Alumni Lecture Session
Mr. Mohit Solanki, Alumni (2017 batch), Mechanical Engineering, who is presently working as Design Engineer at Mahindra defense systems located in Prithla (Haryana) gave online presentation on the design of MPV (Mine Protective Vehicle).
Mr. Mohit started his talk by explaining the importance of different design software in the design area of Mechanical Engineering. After that, he explained the importance of the MPV vehicle and its important design concepts. He also demonstrated the usefulness of different steps in the design approach for defense vehicles which includes customer requirement, product design requirement, and customer feedback.
He also advised the students interested in the design field to focus on their goals and constantly work upon to enhance their software skills in different design software’s (CATIA, PROE, etc.) and in turn, groom themselves for the relevant area of their interest.
Most of the students of 2nd, 4th and 6th semester of Mechanical Engineering attended and enjoyed the session.
