The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Manav Rachna University organized an Alumni Interaction with Mr. Raghav Rastogi and Mr. Dhruv Sharma on 15th April 2021 through Google Meet on the topic “Scope of VLSI and EDA domain”.

Mr. Raghav Rastogi is currently working as a Senior Member of the Technical Staff, Seimens EDA (formerly MentorGraphics) and Mr. Dhruv Sharma is working as Application Engineer, Cadence Design Systems.

They began with the discussion on the technical aspects of the VLSI and EDA domain and career opportunities available in that field along with the wider scope of Electronics and Communication from a job perspective.

They emphasized how one must learn the basics of electronics which integrates into modern-day applications. Students were keenly interested in the session to know the core area details in which they can work to bang a good package in the industry. To become a good Electronics and Communication Engineer one should have a very good command over all the core subjects, only then one will be able to get placed in a good core company.

Both of them offered students the opportunity to contact them whenever required working on any project related to the domain. The overall session was very informative and interactive. All Students and Faculty Members of, ECE Department attended the session.
