Dr. Rashima Mahajan, Associate Professor, Dept of CSE, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, MRIIRS, attended AICTE-ATAL sponsored 5 days (17^th -21^st Dec 2019) Faculty Development Program on the Internet of Things (IoT) at IIIT, Delhi.

The workshop was focused around four critical domains of IoT: Things in IoT, Internet in IoT, Security for IoT and Hardware boards available for IoT applications. Over the five days, distinct sessions were delivered by experts from Industry (Microsoft, STMicroelectronics, VVDN Technologies, Zenatix) as well as academia (IIT Delhi, JNU, Delhi, IIIT, Delhi).

Experts shared the challenges/experiences from large scale IoT deployment in the Field along with the need for edge computing, IoT security implementations, cognitive IoT environments and low power IoT communication technologies.
