Advanced Training Program on Shodhganga
Dr. Megha Mittal and Dr. Prinima Gupta attended three days advanced training program organized by INFLIBNET center, Gandhinagar. The Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Centre is an autonomous Inter-University Centre of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The Centre is responsible for the creation of national union database (IndCat), National Repository of Indian Theses and Dissertations (Shodhganga) and Synopses/ Research in progress details (Shodhgangotri), and development of an integrated library management software (SOUL 2.0), etc.
The main objective of this workshop was to enable the participants to impart knowledge on creating and managing institutional repositories. The workshop included lectures as well as extensive “hands-on” training, so as to provide both theoretical base and practical skills to the participants.
