ACREX India 2017
Mechanical Engineering Department from Manav Rachna International University are organising many events in Collaboration with ISHRAE (Indian Society of Heating, Refrigeration & Air conditioning Engineers) such as Job Junction, expert lectures, technical quiz etc. The Department is in the process of witnessing an MOU between MRIU & ISHRAE and is going to set up Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) Centre of Excellence in collaboration with ISHRAE at the MRIU Campus.
ISHRAE had organised international and national level of Exhibition for HVAC (ACREX 17) in Greater Noida from 23rd to 25th February,17 where all the top HVAC Companies of the country and abroad were exhibiting their products.The Mechanical Engineering Department feltthat such an exposure would be of immense help to our students (VIth Semester) and faculty members when they visit the Exhibition.
Keeping the above facts in mind, the Mechanical Engineering Department from MRIU organised a visit for Faculty and students at India Export Mart Ltd ,Greater Noida–which was the Exhibition venue. 19 volunteers for all the three days for the Exhibition was deputed.
The Exhibition ACREX-17 had a total footfall of 50000 in three days. The students and faculty members gained exposure to various aspects of HVAC.They had an opportunity to interact with the Corporate World and got an insight into the Technical Knowhow of HVAC.For students who are too caught up in their academic curriculums, this Exhibition was an eye opener. Corporate Presentation Techniques, communication skills etc were also a great learning opportunity for the students. Tat apart, various HVAC Equipments like Chilling Machine, Chilled Water Pump, Condenser Water Pump, Control Systems, BMS (Building Management System),Valves etc were on display.
After making a visit to different stalls set up by the HVAC Companies, the visit came to an end amid lots of enthusiasm from students and faculty members.The whole effort was supported by Executive Director &Dean,FET , Dr M.K. Soni and HOD Dr Manoj Nayak.
