Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies organized an enrichment lecture on College to Corporate by Mr. Anil Tyagi under the aegis of Enrichment Lecture Series Programme (ELSP). The session was attended by senior students of BBA, B.Com and some students from Faculty of Planning and Architecture. Ms. Charu Chandna of BBA(G) IB Sem05 introduced the guest and explained to the audience about importance of these ELSP sessions.

Mr. Tyagi started the session with the icebreakers to incite the students on various career-related issues. It was an interactive session that inculcated the need to explore various interviewing skills among students. Mr. Anil Tyagi conducted mock interviews to explain the various intricacies of an HR interview. He narrated the importance of Knowledge, Skills and attitude in an individual to enter into the corporate world.He motivated students to express their views without getting baffled about language and other barriers because expression is important. Having confidence in speaking and expressing comes through reading and observations. He motivated students by showing the motivational video of Abraham Lincoln which showed him overcoming his failures and succeeding in life.

The session gave an insight about the changes in transaction from college to corporate for students and various handling techniques related to it. Students thoroughly enjoyed the interactive session and asked a variety of questions on interviews and the corporate culture. There were a variety of examples discussed throughout the session.

A vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Anadya Dua, student of BBA(IB) Sem05 for giving such an informative session to final year students which will help them in the near future for various interviews.
