Faculty of Media Studies and Humanities, Department of English, organized a Competition on delineating Shakespeare’s genius, entitled ‘Recounting the Bard (William Shakespeare)’. The participants tried to recreate Shakespeare’s genius by presenting his poems, songs, speeches, dialogues and actions. The event was organized as part of the departmental/ clan activity, on October 3, 2018. More than 20 students participated in the Competition. Dr. Sujata and Dr. Suchitra Vashisth were the faculty coordinators for the event, whereas Ms Muskan (B.A. 5th Sem.), Ms Anjali (B.A. 5th Sem.), and Ms Bhawna (M.A. 1^st Sem.) gave their contribution as Student coordinators.

Dr Kiran Gupta from Department of Education, MRU was the judge for the event. The following are the winners:

 I   – Sakshi Garg from B.A. (H) English, 5th Semester (Wild Cat)

II – Team Othello, comprising Bhawna Sharma (Wild Cat), Ritika (Air Falcon) and Shivani Arora (Wild Cat) from M.A. English, 1^st and 3^rd Semesters.

III – Archana from B.A. (H) English 3rd Semester (Water Sharks)
