The Department of Civil Engineering & Department of Earth Sciences & Environment, FET, MRIIRS organized a 5-day workshop on “Application of Remote Sensing for Efficient Infrastructure Planning”.

The workshop aimed at providing a conducive knowledge gaining a platform of Remote Sensing in various infrastructure planning, it also included hands-on–training sessions on the workshop theme.

The total participants in the workshop were 33 out of which 02 were external participants from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, rest were UG & PG students of Civil Engineering & Earth Sciences & Environment, Dept, FET, MRIIRS.

The workshop was inaugurated in the auspicious presence of Honorable Pro. Vice-Chancellor, Dr. M. K. Soni, Dean, FET, MRIIRS, Dr. Harish C. Rai, Eminent Speaker Dr. Sagnik Dey, Associate Professor, Centre for Atmospheric Sciences, IIT Delhi, other Head of Departments, faculty members, and participant on September 9, 2019.                                                                                                                 

The valedictory address was given by Dean, FET Dr. Harish C. Rai, followed by awarding of certificates to the participants.
