Dr Riad Kamel Abbas, Ambassador, Syrian Embassy, enthralls graduating students at the MRCFL Graduation ceremony in MRIU!
Manav Rachna Centre of Foreign Languages (MRCFL) held its Graduation Ceremony at the MRIU Campus here today. As a budding language institute in MRIU, MRCFL offers professional courses in various foreign languages, namely – Spanish, German, Chinese, Japanese, French and Arabic. The Institute is committed to adhere to international standards in the field of academics and aims to make Foreign Languages accessible to everyone. Having successfully guided students through the rigours of learning a foreign language, MRFCL celebrated its Graduation Ceremony with great zest and enthusiasm. Dr Riad Kamel Abbas, Ambassador, Syrian Embassy was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr N.C Wadhwa, Vice Chancellor, MRIU; Dr Sanjay Srivastava, MD, MREI and Vice Chancellor, MRU among other senior dignitaries also graced the event. The program began on a musical note with a choir—comprising students of MRCFL– rendering melodious songs in different foreign languages. The students expressed their learning and love for the foreign languages through this musical presentation.
Dr. N. C Wadhwa , VC, MRIU, in his welcome address, stated, “In a world which is highly competitive, we thought of giving students the opportunity of learning foreign languages so as to enable them to enjoy a competitive edge while they stand a good chance of getting lucrative jobs in different countries. They are engaged in this year long program wherein they are taught about the foreign country’s language and culture with a view to giving them a better footing in life.” Certificates were awarded to the Graduands for their outstanding performance in their respective foreign language course.
Congratulating the Students on this momentous occasion, Dr Riad Kamel Abbas, Ambassador, Syrian Embassy, stated, “It’s a great honour to be a part of this day. Knowledge is a great way in life to promote Humanity. New language is a New Life, use it for your country’s benefit and do not forget your own language.”
Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, shared some of his own experiences with the students and delivered the vote of thanks expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest and the audience for the success of the grand Graduation Ceremony of MRCFL.
