Manav Rachna International University Signed MOU with the Sports, Physical Education, Fitness and Leisure Skills Council (SPEFL-SC)
Manav Rachna International today, signed Memorandum of Understanding with the Sports, Physical Education, Fitness and Leisure Skills Council (SPEFL-SC) as a training partner for Skill courses to be conducted by Sports Physical Education Fitness and Leisure Skills Council. Dr. N.C Wadhwa, Vice Chancellor MRIU signed Memorandum of Understanding with Dr. Satish Aparajit, CEO SPEFL-SC . The purpose of this agreement is to establish a partnership for imparting employable skill trainings to the youth in one or more of the several occupations related to sports sector.
SPEFL-SC, is a sports skill development council funded by the Government of India through National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and is primarily engaged in the domain of skill development for the Sports, Physical Education, Fitness & Leisure Industry Sector, MRIU in association with SPEFL-SC will conduct research , develop training course curriculum & training modules, training the trainers, assessment and certification of trainers and students. MRIU will aim to promote skill development by catalyzing creation of large, quality, for-profit vocational institutions.
Hon’ble President Dr. Prashant Bhalla congratulated the University to be associated with skill council as it would provide opportunity for the younger generation for better earning and is a step forward towards fulfilling the aim of our Prime Minister program of Skill India.
While signing the MoU, Dr. Satish Aprajit,CEO,SPEFL-SC expressed: “I am happy to note that Manav Rachna Educational Institutions are committed to a culture of excellence in professional education and sports and the MoUs will be a step in this direction.”
Dr. G.L Khanna Dean FAS and Member Governing council of SPEFL-SC said that MRIU would leave no stone unturned to provide the excellent education in the field of sports and skill development. MRIU would conduct the skill training courses in Sports Masseur ,Physical Trainer,Grass Root level Coach, Physical Activity Trainer, Sports Nutrition by collaborating with the International partners.
