MREI conducted Career Guidance Sessions to inspire and encourage students of Kota
Leading academicians and career experts from Manav Rachna Educational Institutions — a leading education group of North India visited Allen Institute, Kota today to motivate and address over 3000 students on new and emerging careers. Kota, the hub of coaching centres and popularly known as the ‘Education City’ attracts a large number of students who aspire for lucrative careers in engineering, medicine, law, chartered accountancy and the like. However, students often find it difficult to cope with the rigours of competitive exams and become stressed due to the pressure of studies and high expectations. It is in this light that Manav Rachna Educational Institutions took up the noble initiative of conducting special Motivational Talk sessions through ‘An Interface with Allen’, a premier coaching centre in Kota. The objective has been to help students deal with the challenges of competitive exams and how best they can build their lives based on their strengths and capabilities.
While addressing the students at Allen Institute, Dr Sanjay Srivastava, Managing Director, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI) reiterated: “The idea has been to inculcate positivity and give students of varied interests, a sense of direction. We have also helped them look at ways of devising a career strategy while deciding on their career goals based on their interests, preferences, strengths and weaknesses. While achieving the desired career goal is important, students were also advised on ways to achieve success and thrive in their chosen career. ”
Team Manav Rachna led by Dr Sanjay Srivastava addressed students across the board at Allen Institute on myriad issues such as ‘Psychometric Testing’, ‘Manav Rachna- Conduit from College to Corporate’, ‘Energizer – The Brand You’ and ‘Fostering Engineering Innovators’. The programme further laid emphasis on unconventional careers through ‘Challenge Yourself – “Think Beyond the obvious – Other Avenues for Medical Students’ where extensive discussions were held about allied professions.
