Over 2000 Students of Architecture create the Largest Footprint Painting at Zonal NASA 2016 with a view to earning a place in the Limca Book of Records!
Zonal NASA 2016 reached its grand culmination with a unique and path breaking event! Over 2000 Students of Architecture created the Largest Footprint Painting at the Zonal NASA 2016 Convention at Manav Rachna International University with a view to earning a place in the Limca Book of Records! And they did it with unflagging enthusiasm! The landmark event graced by Eminent Architects saw the youth brigade from the world of architecture creating footprints with bright splashes of colour! This was youth energy at its best and students from Manav Rachna and beyond gave vent to their creativity and set their feet on the canvas only to come up with the motif of a dove as a peace symbol. Zonal NASA (National Association Of Students of Architecture) 2016, the four day premier architectural convention—from 2-5 November, 2016– was choc-a-bloc with a plethora of events in which students from as many as 59 Colleges soaked in the fun and creativity at the sessions.
At the Footprint Painting event graced by Ar Dishant Bhatia, New Delhi; Ar Noman Imran Khan, Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun; Ar Aditya Kumar Singh, HOD, Department of Architecture & Landscape Design, SMVDU, J&K; along with senior gazetted officers as eye witnesses, there was much excitement in the air. The canvas, 2500 m2 in size, is expected to earn a place in the Limca Book of Records! It is noteworthy that the largest painting by foot prints measures 2020.83 m2 ((21,752.83 ft²) and was achieved by Barefoot in Basalt, USA on 30th May, 20015. Here in Faridabad, Students at Zonal NASA 2016 took on the challenge and have tried to break the record in about four hours. The video graph of the event would be sent to Limca Book of World Records for assessment of this extraordinary attempt.
