The Champions’ Trophy for the 13th Manav Rachna Corporate Cricket Challenge 2020 unveiled
The much-awaited 13th edition of the Manav Rachna Corporate Cricket Challenge 2020 begins from January 11, 2020.
The Cup, instituted in the memory of Founder Visionary Dr. O P Bhalla follows the belief that sports inculcate life-long skills, camaraderie and bonding among players. 26 leading Corporates from Delhi-NCR including Maruti Suzuki India, Gurugram; Honda Car India, Greater Noida; Escorts Construction & Equipment, Faridabad; National Highway Authority of India, Delhi; Tata Consultancy Services, Noida; JCB India, Ballabhgarh; Accenture, Gurugram; Knorr Bremse, Palwal; Dabur India, Ghaziabad; Meta Fab, Faridabad; AajTak, Delhi; IIFL-Wealth, Delhi; Asian Hospital, Faridabad; Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad; Hero Motocorp, Gurugram; Lawyers Sports Association (Supreme Court), Delhi; National Hydro Power Corporation, Faridabad; KPMG Global Services, Gurugram;Manav Rachna Educational Institutions, Faridabad; Honda Motorcycle, Gurugram; Fortis Hospital, Faridabad; ACE, Faridabad; Press Club of India, Delhi; Indian Oil (R & D), Faridabad; Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, Delhi; and Adidas, Gurugramare participating in the Cup, this year.
The Champions Trophy of the tournament was unveiled in the presence of the Managers/Captains of the participating teams; Dr. Amit Bhalla, Vice President, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI); Mr. Sarkar Talwar, Director-Sports, MREI and other senior dignitaries.
During the unveiling ceremony, apparel was distributed to the teams and the draw of matches was taken out.
55 matches will be played in the 13th Manav Rachna Corporate Cricket Challenge Cup 2020. The teams have been divided into six groups. During the first phase, league matches shall be played. These will be followed by knock-out matches. The top 4 teams in the knock-out matches will get a bike as an award. The final match of the tournament will be played on March 21, 2020.
