Manav Rachna family paid homage to the Founder Visionary, Dr. O.P. Bhalla on his 75th Birth
Anniversary. Founder’s Day is an occasion to pay tribute to the great visionary and path-bearer of the
Manav Rachna family, Dr. O.P. Bhalla who laid the foundation of Manav Rachna with a vision to educate
the different sections of the society.
This solemn occasion started with a floral tribute followed by Hawan ceremony wherein Smt. Satya
Bhalla, Chief Patron, MREI; Dr. Prashant Bhalla, President, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions
(MREI); Dr. Amit Bhalla, VP, MREI; Dr. M.M. Kathuria, Trustee, MREI; Dr. NC Wadhwa, DG- MREI; Ms.
Deepika Bhalla, ED, MRIS-14 Faridabad; Ms. Nisha Bhalla, ED, MRIS-Charmwood & MRIS-21C Faridabad;
Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, MD, MREI; Dr. I.K. Bhat, VC, MRU; all the senior dignitaries of Manav Rachna,
faculty members, and MRIS Principals were present.
The Founder’s Day activities (celebrations) kickstarted with the grand launch of उत्कृष्ट- ‘Icons of Manav
Rachna’ in the courteous presence of Sh. Kapil Dev, Legendary Indian Cricketer. This book aims to speak
high about the remarkable accomplishments of our cherished alumni along with their unprecedented
challenges and how they overcame those in the pursuit of their dreams- demonstrating endurance,
purpose, and compassion.
Fifth edition of Innoskill 2022, Annual Technical and Non-Technical Fest of Manav Rachna, is being
organized on April 11 & 12, 2022. Innoskill 2022 is a platform that brings corporate, professionals and
learners on a single platform to facilitate innovation and enhancing welfare.  Major Attractions include
Skill-based competitions, Exhibitions and Visual Presentations with hands-on workshops.
Being a harbinger of education for all, Manav Rachna is observing April as ‘Autism Awareness Month’
wherein a series of events will be organized at the Manav Rachna campus and across Manav Rachna
International Schools.
In addition to the above, Fourth edition of Manav Rachna Excellence Awards is being organized to
honour the stalwarts from Industry and Academia.
The above initiatives carry forward the legacy left behind by our Founder Visionary Dr. O.P. Bhalla who
was himself a successful path breaker, and the pioneer of quality education movement and higher
professional educational reform movement across the world. He worked tirelessly for the upliftment of
the poor in the field of education, disability, and also contributed to Cremation grounds, religious trusts,
and societies. He was instrumental in organizing Blood Donation Camps, and Health check-up camps in
association with Rotary Club, Red Cross Society, and B.K. Hospital.
On this day and forever, Manav Rachna family bows down with gratitude to the man who imbibed in us
the spirit of emerging higher and stronger.
