Faridabad collaborated with Invisalign in the form of Invisalign’s University
Education Program
Aligners and straight smiles have been a notion of unachievable for the past decade. However,
Manav Rachna Dental College, MRIIRS with Invisalign, an International company that has
become a household name and is synonymous with invisible orthodontics.
The Inauguration took place in the presence of honorable Dr. Naresh Grover – Pro-Vice
Chancellor, MRIIRS as the Chief Guest of the event, along with Prof. (Dr.) Arundeep Singh –
Principal MRDC, Prof. (Dr.) Puneet Batra – Director of PG studies, MRDC and Prof. (Dr.) Nitin
Arora – Professor and HOD Dept. of Orthodontics, MRDC.
At the inaugural event, Prof. (Dr.) Arundeep Singh – Principal MRDC stated that, “ We should
emphasize on the growing need of technological progressions for cutting edge treatments”.
Prof. (Dr.) Puneet Batra, MRDC also focused on the technological aspects and training for the
Post-Graduate students for optimal treatment.
Dr. Babandeep Bajwa – Clinical Education Manager, Dr. Parul Singh – Associate Clinic Support
Manager, Dr. Durgesh Sharma – Associate Clinical Support Manager and Mr. Vinay Aggarwal –
Practice Development Manager were the resource persons that comprised the team from
Invisalign.
The University Education Program is the first of its kind in North India and MRIIRS has been
chosen as a program center considering the infrastructure of the newly renovated and relaunched
orthodontic department. The University education program aims to provide cutting edge knowledge
about use of aligners in contemporary orthodontic treatment. The program will provide the post graduates
in the Department of Orthodontics with hands-on experience on treatment planning, setting up
prescriptions and handling aligner cases in a structured format.
This Collaboration will not only help the post graduate residents to have mastery over the digital
workflow but will also offer the latest aesthetic treatment option for patients.
