IPRA
MRCPS has collaborated with Institute of Peace Research and Action (IPRA) on 10th February 2020. IPRA is the organization that is engaged in peace activities since last five decades. It contributes in dissemination of knowledge in the area of peace, and has completed many successful projects and published books in the area of Sensitizing society on Peace. The have conducted seminars and organized peace lecture series involving faculty and staff of reputed organizations. The collaboration of MRU and IPRA will be for collaborative research and developmental projects National/ International Conferences / Seminars jointly.
MGIEP
Manav Rachna University has partnered with UNESCO-MGIEP to offer the online course SEEK (Self directed Emotional Learning for Empathy and Kindness) which is developed by UNESCO-MGIEP in collaboration with Life University, USA. 1800 students of Manav Rachna University have enrolled for the course. The Course was offered to all students of Manav Rachna University and is completed successfully by a large chunk of students across various disciplines.
To understand the students responses regarding SEEK course, Assistant Director General,UNESCO Mr Nicholas Jeffreys was on India visit. He along with Director UNESCO MGIEP, Prof Dr Anantha Duraiappah, SEEK Project Officer – Mr Abel Caine, (TBC) visited Manav Rachna Campus.
Heartfulness Organization
30 students with faculties became part of Youth summit at Hyderabad. Heartfulness in association with AICTE and UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) as its knowledge partner is bringing forth the International ‘Rising with Kindness’ Youth Summit at Kanha Shanti Vanam – Heartfulness Headquarters in the outskirts of Hyderabad between 12th-14thAugust 2022.
Students also undertake meditation session in Manav Rachna campus. Faculty development programmes were arranged for faculties to inculcate self management to gain leadership mastery.
SCCN
Manav Rachna University became the member of Smart Campus Cloud Network. Manav Rachna University participated and took a voluntary pledge to develop the roadmap towards making University carbon neutral on the fifth anniversary of the Paris Agreement on December 12 2020 in virtual event NOT Zero Net Zero organized by TERRE Policy Centre under Smart Campus Cloud Network. Committees including Manav Rachna faculty and Students are formed to implement towards the goal of making campus Carbon neutral.
